Share your story with other Alaskan middle school students!

Middle school students in 6th, 7th or 8th grade can be part of the newspaper, What's Your Story?

This newspaper showcases Alaskans’ dreams, careers, and successes. It explores different education paths. Every 7th and 8th grade student in the state receives a copy in the mail, and some Alaska middle school students participate in writing it!  College Is for You

Alaskan kids send the message that everyone is college material. This poster is distributed at the beginning of the school year to every 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade classroom in the state.

  
 Training for Education Professionals

The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) provides regular training on using the Alaska Career Information System (AKCIS), for education professionals at the secondary and postsecondary level, including job center staff helping adults make a career transition. More information is available at the AKCIS web site.

Education professionals can contact ACPE to request training on other topics, such as general financial aid, or on ACPE financial aid products, such as the AlaskAdvantage Loan Program®.
