A.W. "Winn" Brindle Memorial Education Loan
The A.W. "Winn" Brindle Memorial Education Loan Program was established in memory of A.W. "Winn" Brindle who was president of the Wards Cove Packing Company and Columbia Wards Fisheries. It is funded by private donations and contributions from fisheries in exchange for state tax credits. The funds provide educational loans to Alaska residents for full-time study in fisheries-related programs.

1The APR assumes a principal loan amount of $8500, no origination fee, a freshman borrower, borrower remains in school for four years, and repayment term of 15 years. The APR does not include the effects of borrower benefits.
